  1. Hi Everyone, I started my preop liquid diet today. I can only have broth, sugar free jello and popsicles. Of course, also protein shakes. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday, July 8th. Only 3 Days Left!!! Getting very nervous. I go tomorrow to get my blood taken and my preop class. Not sure what the preop class is for. Good luck to everyone getting surgery.
  2. My surgery is July 8th and I am getting very nervous but excited. My doctor only requires a 3 day liquid diet that I will be starting on July 5th. I guess 3 days will be a lot easier than other preop diets I hear everyone talking about that lasts for 2-3 weeks. I guess every doctor is different. I need to buy some premixed protein drinks. Any suggestions on some that taste good? My other things I can drink/eat are sugar free jello, popsicles, and soup broth. Sounds yummy :tt1:
  3. Hi Everyone. New to this forum. I am getting my surgery on July 8. I was approved by my insurance, but found out it is still going to cost me about $3800. I pay 15% of the contracted rate and I was not expecting that and the hospital wants their money up front. Does anyone else have this problem?
