I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes five years ago and was unable to control my blood sugar with my eating habits. I became very scared the older I got about what complications would arise from my unhealthy lifestyle. I saw an ad for lap band surgery and called my insurance to see if it was covered and to my great surprise, it was. And the rest as they say is history.
