Hello, Hello, Hello I know I should be happy but I am somewhat bitter/sweet.... First: My hunger has kicked in. I did this lap band because I was not happy with my body. But now I am thinking this will not satisify me. Second: I have been reading about so many failed lapbands. I read were someone said google failed lap bands and I did. I did not like what I read. Third: My son is being disruptive in his childcare. he is only 3 and his behavior will determine if he remains in that center tomorrow. I am so stressed out. i don't have local family around to assist me, so I am really catching it. I don't have any local friends either. I have only been in this area since June 08. I meet people, but nothing ever comes from it. I can rant all night about what I am going through, but my tears will prevent me from seeing the screen. Sorry that I had to vent....

You have got it going on! I am so excited for you. I get my 1st fill on June 20. I am somewhat terrified of seeing and having them poke me with a needle. I wish I had someone with me to coach me and hold my hand, better yet hold me. Have you ever had a moment were you just wanted to be held.............................

I use to get them all the time also.....I started using condoms and my problems went away

I just brought the Kashi Go Lean, my bix have more protein in it, if I am not mistaking....plus I have the one that has the strawberry in it...I don't plan on putting milk with mine unless I do the yogurt. I have been on the Activia because my bowels have not been working properly.....

I am new to the banding, I was banded on yesterday. I was very nervous and afraid. I am still in the same state of mind. I am sore and filled with gas. I made it home about yesterday about 1 pm. very sore. I did take my meds and cat napped for the rest of the day. i drinked water and a little juice to take the pill down for naseau. I crushed my pill, don't know if it was the right thing to do or not. I walk every now and than and I do the breaths in the spiral. As the days progress, the inhaling into the tube is becoming harder. This morning I got up out of bed around 5am. I walked around before heading to the bathroom. Its hard sitting down on the toilet and getting up. I really wish I could have a bowel movement but don't seen like that going to happen. The gas moving inside of me is getting the best of me, I have been chewing Gas X like it candy. i have been sleeping with a heat pad, it helps. I drink some water today and half of a protein shake that's all I have had. Waiting to see what the rest of this day holds.

I am new and since surgery 06/21/2010 I have lost around 8 lbs

If all else fells, ask them to put you on a payment plan. many will do this....I am on one myself......Don't give up and keep the faith

Congrat! Yes my hubby is my SAVER! Guess what I got caught up on Sunday, June 27. was at the MIL home and she asked me about my eating and why I was drinkin my shake. She was like well what all do you eat. (she caught me off guard, especially since I was still on my liquid diet)....I went ah ah ah ah....my hubby jump right in and said well she can pretty much eat what ever but in smaller portions...my inside just got all warm. My MIL looked like why is her son answering for me. so I waited awhile and walked out of the room...lol...he later followed... I was like Thank You for the help. his response was, that's what I am here for.......

Congrat to the both of you all..... I was so ready to put foods other then liquid in my body. Yesterday, for breaskfast: applesauce lunch: applesauce dinner: a half of a child size mash potatoe (KFC), and their grill chicken. I took .y chicken off the bone in KFC and put it in my many food chopper. I had left over chicken(had a chicken thigh). My son killed my mash its his favorite. Today(Thursday) breakfast: activa(yogurt) light strawberry lunch: applesauce and the rest of the chicken dinner: haven't throught that far ahead...lol.... But I feel really good. I had pain all day yesterday on my left shoulder. I manage to take my son to see toy story after work, he's been waiting... I am trying to see what I will do for my 3 yr anniversary. My hubby wants to do this mexican diner here, but think I wouldn't be able to enjoy. I asked him if he plan on lettin me eat off his plate...lol... Oh, my meal price for my son and I yesterday was a total of $5.15. I am loving this......

Hello I was banded on june 21, last monday. The surgery went great..get the rest afterwards. I had pain and GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and still have it but not as bad as it was a couldpe of days afterward. Today is Sunday and the only thing I took today was a children liquid pain reliever for my left shoulder. My office told me to do my clear but also to do my Protein drinks too...... my protein drinks/meal replacements are my survival.....I got my Meal Replacements from my office True Results. They ARE GOOD AND I AM NOT just saying it.

I had the same pain, Are you wearing a bra, if so take it off....this is what was causing my pain and it had me in tears. I had my surgery June 21 with a haital hernia repair also.....Have you had a bowel movement, my doctor told me to take a laxative. I took the first thing I could get my hands on and that was milk of magnesium...lol...its what my mother in law had....I do have miralax and have been drinking benefiber. A relief did come, but I am on a bra strike...

Hi. I am from Texas also.......Denton Had my surgery on June 21st in Hurst. I went through True Results. My doctor that performed my surgery was Dr. Marsden out of Argyle. Everyone at True Results has been amazing. My starting weight was 189. My goal weight is 125 - 130 would be fitting....
