  4. Omg just created this drink that is so yummy, especially if you love watermelon. Just now my friend have me an idea. I was craving a cold blended drink. Of course get your water in for the day! But here is a nice treat to drink to make you feel like your drinking something.different. Ok so let me get to what I did...I'm just a little excited and can't wait to share! I put these ingredients in a blender. Watermelon chunks, crushed ice. Vitamin water Zero go-go mixed berry flavor that is naturally sweetened. Blended it and you got your nice ice drink. Next I'm going to try freezing the watermelon chunks. Give it a try its really good. I'm a week out of surgery and I am always looking new ways to satisfy my cravings....without breaking my post-op rules. And of course having this in moderation! Enjoy!
  5. I think everyone hits a wall, and I hit mine. But I climbed over it this wall. Reading all these forms helped me so much. What made theses thoughts occur is when your limited to what types of food your allowed to have during recovery. I believe as much as you prepare for this, you don't get a full grasp until going thru it.
  6. Thank you ladies you are all awesome!
  7. Hi Everyone, this place is so awesome! I'm know someone on here can help me out by answering this question for me. Does gas pains ever go away? Today will be 1 week post-op. And like every hour to an hour and a half I'm having pain on both of my upper sides. Is this even gas pains? Sorry to be out there but Aunt Flow is here (can't stand her) is this cramps? Hard to figure out what's going on. Please help if you drop some knowledge. It would be highly appreicated! I'm staring to get a little worried. Thanks!
  8. I had surgery on last Monday, June 25th. Thank you all, as i am in a place were i still have to remain in the positive state. They have this saying that i absolutely love because it is so true. " No one said it would be easy, but they did say it would be worth it." My Dr. told me i was his best patient of the day, he said it was because i walked into this with a good outlook. I am going to be super honest, i am feeling better everyday, however today i feel like Im loosing my positive outlook, things are a little ruff but it's all mental. Reading thru these post really helping me today, it helped with outlook on life right now. Thank you all cause i felt a little defeated today until i read these post. I am down 10lbs since surgery
  9. Sounds like your doing great! I just had surgery on June 25. Tomorrow will be 1 week out. I am feeling the same. My right side incision hurts still. My doctor mentioned to me that there would painful due to them making that incision bigger so that they could remove the stomach they cut off. Having a positive outlook goes a long way before and after surgery. Hope everything continues to go well for you!
