    All the hoops

Hi...... It seem like it's going to take forever but it's worth jumping through the hoops for. I had it done in 05 and I have lost 150lbs and at this point I forget I even have a band. If I can give any bit of advice it would be to do 100% of what the Dr tells you to do. That's how it works best. If you look at it as a lifestyle change and not an assisted diet you will do fantastic and feel better then you have in years. In the beginning it is all consuming and new but after a while it's like being reborn to a healthy life style. You will wonder why it took you so long to figure out that this is a good path to health. Be calm and good luck

    dieing for some pasta

Hi..... I have been banded for 4 years and what I do for a pasta fix is three large raviolis with what ever sauce I want. I chock on any other pasta I eat and when I do get it down it doesn't make me full but the rav's work for me.......

    Sick of this

Hi....Just passed you post and wanted to tell you that what you did will change your life. The weight doesn't come off overnight but when it does it stays off. Lap band is not a free ride but it makes it a lot easer. Also remember that you have several fills to go before you get the full effect of the lap band. Soon you will eat 3/4 of a cup of food and feel stuffed. I did this 4 years ago and lost 100lbs. It was not easy but i feel fantastic. Hang in there......
