  1. No fill. Doc said I didnt need it bcuz I had good weight loss. I have mixed feelings about it, relieved yet disappointed.
  2. I was obsessed with the scale for 2 months pre-op and a few weeks post-op. I would get on it 3-4 times a day. Once I realized I was making myself crazy I put the scale up in the cabinet and now I take it out on friday mornings only.
  3. I had to have a BMI over 40 & lose 5% of my total weight (14lbs) pre-op before they would approve my surgery. I ended up losing 30lbs in those 2 months. I had a clear liquid diet for 3 days pre-op.
  4. I was a couple weeks post-op before I tried rice. At first I tried to eat it by itself and I got stuck. About a week later I tried it again slower & mixed with veggies and didnt have any problem.
  5. I did the barium swallow within an hour after surgery.
