  1. There are some great suggestions in this thread! The ones that I would especially like to see are forums for: Clothing Exchange BI over 50 Pregnancy with the Band Separate Polls forum Long-term bandsters (Banded for 2 years+) <--- this one would be especially helpful for pre-band members like me who want to read more about the long-term effects of banding BEFORE surgery! Alternate skins for the board would be nice too!
  2. Well since I personally found LBT through Google, I obviously vote to continue to allow Google to index the forum. Otherwise, it would make it very difficult for people to find this great board! But in order to protect our identities, it's important for members to not post their last names and addresses, etc. on the board. Too many people out there on the internet that can't be trusted with our personal info!
  3. Hi everyone! I'm on the waiting list for Drs. Davey/Birch at the Royal Alexandra Hospital here in Edmonton. I was told to expect a call in early 2008 for an initial consultation with their nurse sometime between April-June 2008. I am curious if anyone else here had their Lap Band surgery with either Dr. Davey or Dr. Birch that could tell me what to expect (what the process is after the initial consultation) and what you think of the doctors and their after-surgery care, etc. Thank you!!!
  4. Hi everyone! I'm so excited to have found this board! I'm pre-op and need all the information and support I can get! I'm still waiting for my initial consultation but I was told to expect a call sometime in February to start the process in likely April. I can't wait! Skinny me here I come!!! I look forward to chatting with you all!
