QUESTION- Do you really see yourself as fat as you are? I was thinking about it today and well, the truth is, mentally I don't see myself as fat until I look in the mirror or pictures. Its really odd. Can't wait for my body to fit my mental image. Danide When I look in a Mirror, I don't look like my mind tells me. My mine says girl you got it going on, My mind is not telling the truth. I just look OK. But BOOOOy when I look at a picture of my self. Oh that can't be. It is something how the mind sees what it want to see. Oh Cicigril, You are right you can do it. And we are here as your support. Just a little longer and you will be banded. Hi Cathy: I think it will be around September 9. I was told they do not submit paper work more then 30 days before surgery. Like my son say "Now check this out" LOL September 9, 11:a.m. I go fore my per-op-testing, 1:15 I have my last visit with the nutritionist before surgery. On 14th. Of September my last visit with surgeon. All of this and my paper work has not been submitted. Cathy you are right that was a Heart Attack moment! Lillyegg: I pray that things work out. That's a bummer. Let me tell you about the deal I got last night. I said that I was not going to buy anything until I get my approval, I could not pass this up. I find the book Before and After Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery, For the Grand Total Of $3.49, that's with S/H and taxes.

I think that's a good ideal also.

CiCigirl; The hospital were I'll be having my surgery has a support group, I missed the meeting this pass Saturday, the one that I did attend I learn so much, they can be very helpful and encouraging along with the LAP-BAND®®®®®®® SURGERY site. If you are able to start a group it would be wonderful. LisaA, Allll! don't worry your husband have you covered. The kids will be OK. Just think of the reasons why it would be good to have the surgery.

Just a few more days and you will be posting I just got Banded, " That's like music to the ears". When I have my surgery I will have to stay over night. I don't know if it's the Dr choice or the in insurance. I had to talk to the insurance to make sure my Dr was on there plant, and she explain that I will be staying over night. Gracerev: I'm in your boat, I do the same thing, if I don't put things off then I will find something to do, the time goes faster and my mind is kept busy oh also I won't be on DH back.

Yes stateofzen, Share more infor with us about the Clothes Exchange. I saw one on the internet. At one of my support group meeting, a couple ladies said at this time they shop at the good well, bc the weight is coming off so fast.

I'm in the same boat as you, my paper work will not be submitted until September 9 2010, I fill a little panicked also. Cathy, I'm not sure :thumbup:. Why the hospital will only submit paper work, 3 weeks before the surgery date. I don't want to start shopping for things and the insurance don't approve me. But if and when the time comes. I can say, "I'm happy to be a part of this group", when I have to start shopping for Vitamins, you will have it all mapped out for me. Will at this time looks like being last is a good thing.
