  1. I'm two weeks Post-Op. My surgery was May 27, 2010. I remained on clear liquids for 10 days then switched to mushy foods on day 11 and will continue on mushy foods until July 2. Are you still taking pain meds? If so, those could be the cause of your headaches. Are you drinking any protein shakes or meal replacement drinks? If not, you really should. Bariatric Fushion (chocolate mousse) is VERY good. Only 138 calories per serving and 50% of your daily vitamins. Are you walking yet? I noticed that when I walked (even though it was tough), I felt much better. I started at the gym on day 7. I would bet you aren't getting enough vitamins or exercise. Try taking children's Advil. I hope you feel better. Stick with it.

It's so difficult getting in 2 protein shakes each day. I found a product called Profect which is a liquid protein "shot" which comes in a hard plastic vial. Each vial is 26grams of protein. There is another product out there and Walmart sells it. It's next to the protein shake drinks. I believe you get 6 vials for $10. I've been drinking this instead of ordering Profect online. I need to mix grape juice with it to get it down, but it works. Hope this helps.
