  1. 33 lbs down in 3 months

Hi Everybody! I have been so slack in signing in and posting. Things have been doing very good. I have had 1 fill and ready for the next. My stomach growls now, I'm talking really loud. I don't have enough restriction, looking forward to the feeling full longer.
I hope everyone is having great success with very few complications. I have to remind myself, "this weight didn't get put on overnight and it certainly won't just disappear overnight.

    Good luck!
  2. Day 2

I have had a little more pain than expected. I have not gotten sick but totally understand when I have had enough food/shake/jello. I'll be glad when my incisions are healed -they are sore.
  3. weight not changing

GRRRRR.... I am on day 33 post op, I have been going to Curves, eating way less, being very active and have only lost 22lbs. It seems that the last week the scale is just hovering around the 22-24 lbs lost. Is this normal? I feel very little restriction. Hopefully when I go back in July he will do a fill.
  4. Day 1

Well I got banded yesterday afternoon at 230 (early) and they let me come home at 730. Everything went great. Now I am looking forward to having a 2oz serving of shake. It was a long day with nothing to drink. My mouth was so dry when i woke up, I chose the ice chips, they seem to last a little longer than a sip of water.
  5. Today's the DAY

I am ready to do this. It has taken a while to get to the surgery day. It has been helpful reading all the blogs to see what other people have went thru. Of course I have already started looking at the plastic surgery blogs, that might be a nice, "you done it" gift.
Have a great day everyone.
  6. 3 days away from banding!

Well here goes. This is my first blog ever. I am a little nervous now that my surgery is only 3 days away. The pre op diet hasn't been that bad. Giving up my diet mt dew was my most dreaded fear. I stopped cold turkey. I had a headache for the first few days. I have lost 6 lbs already and can tell a difference with the way I feel. I am looking forward to this journey.
Reading all the post on here has given me inspiration that I can do it and that things will happen- Don't Panic!
    Have a great weekend everybody.
