Anyone visited Dr. Peter Leport's office in Fountain Valley CA? I have an appointment to meet with him tomorrow morning. Well...not with him as much as with a physicians assistant...which makes me a little wary. I would love some experiences with him! Thanks all.

So, after many weeks of research and thought, I finally decided to go through with getting banded! Now, comes the hard part of finding a surgeon. My first thought of course is the "let your new life begin call 1-800-get-thin" people simply due to that song being jammed into my head. Has anyone used them? Thoughts? Comments? Good? Bad? Also, I'm living in Orange County, CA and would love to hear positive experiences with local surgeons. This is my first surgery ever and would like to make it as painless as possible. If you had yours done locally and loved them, I would love to hear about it! Thanks guys!

Thanks Silly Sally and Manda! I'm not so worried about our plan allowing WLS due to the fact that my mom is the CEO and get's to make whatever plan she wants. I was just wondering if they're slow on approving you like so many insurance companies are. Glad to hear they're not too bad! Thanks for your help ladies!
