Good Afternoon All, This week I had a great NSV. I called my mom up to see if I could get some shirts from her because all of mine are to big, trying not to spend to much on replacing clothing. So she says yes she does and I'm all set to go to her house and raid her closet (I love shopping her a closet she has expensive taste and good quality clothing). I get a call back from her she says lets go to the mall and I'll buy you some stuff. I'm like sure thanks Mom (loves her so much). We go in Macy Plus size department don't like anything in there , not my style. I knew I could fit a 16w in plus size, so my mom is like you could probably fit things in teh Missy Department so we go upstairs in the Missy department and guess what I could fit thing in there. I got a dress in X-large not a 1x but an X-large. Than we go into JcPenny Missy department and guess what I was able to shop there to I got two pair of size 18 regular pants. I'm in the dressing room like regular pants. These are regular pants no "W" after the number. I am so excited. I'm going down baby!! Sorry for the long winded story but I'm so excited. Good afternoon all Just wanted to drop by and give a little update. I am so excited and proud of myself. At first I was getting depressed because I thought I was losing to slow until I had the greatest thing happen I decided to try on a pair of size 16W pants my mom gave me and guess what they fit. When I first started my journey I was 261 wearing a size 20W but now I'm 223 and wearing a 16W in four months. I haven't worn this size since I was a freshman in high school and that was 20 years ago. The lapband was the best decision I ever made.

I don't exercise as much as I should. I know that is a problem as well. I'm trying to find something that can hold my interest more than five seconds, lol

Thanks for the words of encourage. I do eat less than I use to but I still get very hungry inbetween meals. I feel up quickly as well but it doesn't last. I will try to stay encouraged.

Hello All, I haven't posted much on the site but I'm on here just about everyday. I had surgery on Oct 15, 2010 and have only lost 28lbs I feel like I am not doing that great. I know I eat more the a 1/2 cup of food, but I do eat healthier did I have every done. I dont' eat any rice, Pasta etc.. and get in all my Protein. I have had 2 fills. I have 5ccs in a 11cc band. Any suggestions would be helpful. Please be honest I need the kick in the butt. Thanks All!

Ok, maybe I should wait and do it over the weekend I don't wanna be caught outside when the flood gates open . I went to Walgreens and the pharmacist recommend "Colace stool softner". I'm gonna try that first.

Have a question what is Magnesium Citrate? I didn't have that before surgery.

Thanks I will try not to let it go to my head and drive me crazy. Yes Shorty you are correct only had two bowel movements since surgery and they were very little bowel movements also. What can I take to help me move along and keep me moving, LOL. Thanks!!!

Good Morning Everyone, I need help! I was banded on Oct 15th and lost 20lbs the first week. Now here it is week three and I have gain 4lbs. I haven't been eating crazy. I didn't measure three days out of my entire 3 weeks and started exercising and I can't figure out why I have gained 4lbs. I have only gone #2 twice since surgery. I eat three 4 oz meals a day w/two 2oz Snacks. I am on the soft solids stage. Any suggestions would be helpful!!!

I am also 3 days post op.. I don't have a burping sensation, I just burp all the time. I'm doing well Dr. moved me on to cream soup and protein shakes because I was starving.. No longer starving.:smile: Good Luck all!!
