  1. Hi! Anne, Thanks for the warm welcome. You are way ahead of the game if you are living a healthy lifestyle now. I wish you all the best on your upcoming surgery!
  2. Hi! Everyone, I'm so thrilled to find this site!! I am three months out from my LAP-BAND® surgery (Jan 25, 2010) I've had my ups and downs, but I've looked at these first months as a learning session. I've tried different times of day to eat my meals(six small versus three meals + one snack) The best things for me so far are measuring portions, a food journal and making sure I have something I can take with me when we go to family or friends homes. I'm incorporating walking on a daily basis. Lifting weights at least two times a week. I know that this is something I will be doing for the rest of my life. I am so glad I have the help of the LAP-BAND®, but I know if I am to be healthy and fit I will have to commit to doing whatever it takes to get there! Cathy
