Does anyone know if Unsweetened Almond Milk with Cream of Wheat, very thinned out....would this be considered fulll liquid or would it be considered puréed stage? I'm on full liquids now. Thx!

I am scared....dry heaves are sooooo bad . I had surgery on April 3rd.. I walk like 10mins every hour....I sip Water and Protein. Haven't taken pain meds because I'm not sure if that's what's causing dry heaving.....when should I feel better ? Ugh.. I have never had dry heaving from anesthesia before.

Thx...he called in non narcotic pain meds and anti nausea meds. Husband is picking them up now..thank God!!!! It's hard to sip when you dry heave!

Surgery one week from tomorrow!! No more bad choices!!!! I plan on having: 2 premier shakes (breakfast&lunch) 1 sugar free jello I sugar free pudding I can puréed lentil soup (dinner) Lots of water No coffee or soda!!!! I hope I don't rip someone's head off!!!!! LOL

Today I was approved and I am scheduled for April 3rd....I know ........ only a week from this Wednesday! I have not told my brothers or my father about my surgery because our family has been through a lot lately. One of the many issues is my stepmother has been in the hospital for 5 weeks and won't be out until mid April...then has to go back in for a bone marrow transplant shortly after. She has a very aggressive form of cancer and my father has so much on his mind already! I am not worried about my brothers or father being judge mental. I just truly don't want to add another stressor considering all that is going on. On the other hand, if something goes wrong, I would feel bad that I didn't tell them...just in case. I have my husband and mothers support so I'm not worried about support. Again, I feel there is so much going on that I should maybe wait until things have calmed down. Anybody have any thoughts?

WOW only 3 days out? Great to hear from you and so glad you are doing well. I am still scheduled for April 3rd. Was the surgery what you expected, worse, or better? How long did you stay in the hospital?

I had my medical clearance appointment with my PCP today and tomorrow is my final appointment with my nutritionist and surgeon before surgery.....surgery is scheduled for April 3rd at 12pm.....YIKES!!!! So many mixed feelings but mostly excitement. Can't wait for the surgery to be over and my new life to begin Good luck everyone!!

Wow....my evaluation was 3 hours today!!!! I had to draw pictures, repeat words, take a 334 question T/F test, 22 question test on binge eating....I am wiped out!!!!!! I will be getting a call by Friday with results. After all that I really hope I pass! Has anyone ever cried during the evaluation??? I DID!!!! I hope it doesn't count against me...nothing to do with the surgery just over a traumatic experience....

Definitely don't think I answered anything that would trigger any concern but drawing pictures and remembering a series of words....well I guess it's hard to tell based on drawings and my memory... Clearly I picked the wrong psych to go to....the surgeons list of psychologists were not in my insurance network.. I should have paid cash... Well we'll see what happens... I still have a month to see another one if I have to...if the surgeon will let me!!

Me too... I didn't cry because I'm scared of the procedure but a rather traumatic experience that occurred...fingers crossed thank you

YAY for April sleevers!!!! I am scheduled for April 3rd, I just need to do my psychological evaluation on 2/26!! I am 36, 293 lbs, 5'8 and wear a size 20 or 22. My procedure is with Dr. Bass in Naples, FL. So excited and nervous! Best of luck!!!!

Just wondering......it's difficult for me to imagine drinking Fluid for the leak test when people talk about the pain when sipping Water the day after surgery. Is it painful? Taste gross? Thanks! I am scheduled for April 3rd..YIPPY!
