Hi! I'm new here, and trying to decide whether or not to have the lap band surgery. If I decide to go ahead with it, the closest place I could have it done is Brookhaven Hospital, on Long Island, where there is a group of several doctors with a bariatric surgery practice. Do any of you have any experience with any of the doctors in that group or with the hospital itself? I'd really appreciate any information or recommendations you could give me; especially if you'd recommend that I don't have the surgery!
