Hey, thanks for checking on me, I am doing great. I never went to the hospital for surgery before, but the staff made me comfortable, and as soon as you breath into the mask you will wake up in your recovery room lol,foreal. I wasn't in any huge pain at all, it just felt like someone punch me in my chest, not a painful feel though, I been doing everything my doctor ordered, because I don't want to mess this up. I have 4 more days to eat soft/puree foods, right now I'm on liquids, I was a little frustrated during this process, but I seen that I lost 15lbs, so I figure it's not that bad, I also been exercising, I walk during the day time for 30 minutes and I did my Zumba class on Saturday, because it's every saturday

I am down 11lbs too, because I was at 309, now it says 298, wow. I have five more days for soft food, thank God. The EAS is what I'm drinking too, and you're right the taste is starting to piss me off because thats all I been drinking, that and chicken broth, but yesterday i bought egg drop soup from chinese place and drained the eggs out and drank the juice, it was delicious.

Thanks alot, this website and helpful people like you keep my mind at ease, it's cool to know you aren't the only one going through the same thing, its good that others have experienced the same issues.

How are you holding up? My date was on July 12th, I feel a lot better now the first day i felt like someone punch me in my chest, just an uncomfortable feeling, it didn't hurt though, I just came from walking. When you walk it feels a heck of alot better.

I took my pain med before i went to sleep that day, but im not in pain at all, i had to crush up the pill in my pudding though because i only can have liquids, so right now im eating a popsicle, i havent been hungry, you will be fine

Hey Mo, I had my surgery yesterday, I wasn't in pain it just felt uncomfortable sorta like someone just punched me in my chest. So I'm not in pain thank God. The procedure I remember was the doctor told me to breathe in the oxygen mask and I was out. I woke up in the recovery room. And I slept for 3 hours I was so tired. I slept all day yesterday but I did walk for 15 min. Today I walked for 15 min..im not hungry so i have to remind myself to eat. That's basically it. I can't wait until your surgery. Stay blessed!

I have to be there at 5:30 am and my surgery is around the same time as yours 7:15..that's cool, just think, we will be getting banded at the same time!

My doctor didn't give me a liquid diet, I was surprised I thought he would. He said I just can't eat after midnight before the day of surgery.

Hey, I don't have to be on the liquid diet but I can't eat after 12 the night before surgery, But knowing me I will eat very light on the 10th and 11th

no they didn't say yet, i will talk to my doctor july 1st though
