OK so here is how my pre-surgery story goes, Met with the dietitian and psychiatrist on May 10th i also paid my $500.00 program fee, then i met with the nurse on May 12th to have an EKG etc. then on May 19th i had a gall bladder u/s and met with the Internal med doctor at the weight loss clinic to go over my EKG and any other question's that i may have about the surgery, On May 20th i had a pulmonary function test for my asthma i need to have that because due to my asthma i need a tube down my throat for surgery, On June 21st i met with the dietitian again for last minute questions and to go over the diet plan before and after surgery, then i finally Met with the surgeon on July 15 2010 and i am scheduled for surgery.... Authorization sent to Harvard Pilgrim on 7/16/2010 approved on 07/20/2010 yay!!!! My surgery date is August 23rd i am soooo excited and can't wait, I have pre-admission testing scheduled for August 6th now i am patiently waiting for my surgery..... =)
