  1. Climbing the stairs helped me. I had the pains starting the night I got home from the hospital (day after banding) 5 days of horrific pain. Gas ex did little to help but the walking and especially the climbing helped more. Day 6 woke up like i never had surgery -- its weird. Trying to get use to all these new aches and pains that are joining or replacing my old ones.
  2. I had a similar pain on Monday. Ironically it happened while waiting to see the Dr. for my 1 week post op visit. I was in tears the pain was so horrific. It did not phase him. He just went right on with the exam as if tears werent streaming from my eyes. He said it was probably gas. It lasted non-stop for 1 1/2 hours then came on and off sporatically for 2 days. I only feel it very slightly now -- the gas ex did not help but climbing stairs did as well as stretching it out.
