  1. Hi, I'm new here, just had my surgery last Friday. The first few days were great, but starting about day 4 I began having horrible pains in my upper chest/shoulder, and right below my left boob. I recognized this as gas pains as I've had prior laproscopic procedures, but wow! It's almost unbearable! Anyone have the same problem? I'm walking nearly every spare minute and have just tried GasX this afternoon (no relief yet). Any suggestions? When does it end? Thanks for any input. Julie
