Long story short: Out of desperation, I went to a plastic surgeon to discuss liposuction. He convinced me I'd be a good candidate for the Lap Band. I had never once even thought about WLS before that moment. The day I visited my future surgeon, I walked out of his office feeling like a tremendous weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I had a plan.
