  1. Thats good if you have a friend who has got the band fitted, how much has your friend lost?? You two are the closest I've got....... I bet you feel relieved now you have your op booked?? I bet Sri Lanka is gorgeous, I'm off to Cuba for my Honeymoon in April. I still have this dreaded feeling that I am going to get this band fitted and still not be able to lose weight, I suppose its because I have tryed sooooo hard to lose in the past and managed to lose a couple of stone and but put it all back on again. I really hope and I can make a success of it this time....what are you thoughts on the loose skin (nice) as well?:nervous
  2. I wish you the best of luck too, even though you might not get chance to read this before you go!! Where abouts are you going Anon, is it the Maldives? I'll talk later....kids want feeding......
  3. Hi Anon, I was in the waiting room with my OH at 4.30pm?? I think there was someone in the car next to me when I pulled up at the car park? I am flying over with Brussels Airlines. It £115 return but I am flying out Sun as it works out cheaper staying an extra night than flying Mon morning as I'd have to be there early as meeting time is 1pm. I don't fancy all the travelling once the operation is done, I imagine I'll want to get home to my own bed, but I'm probably imagining the worst at this point..... I keep reminding myself of my caesarean section I had back in January and I was up and about the next day and that is quite major surgery, so I should be OK really............(nervous babble now)......... I just thought I know this is what I want, I am not happy like this, so I booked it and then I couldn't talk myself out of it. If I'm going to get it done I'd rather get it over and done with...and then hopefully get on with the rest of my life hopefully feeling better about myself. Just hope this company is good, I haven't read a bad review? Have you? I read the Anne Diamond article and she seemed to have is done really cheap....? Don't think she had it done with the same company??
  4. Hi, I am new to this site and have just been reading your conversation (hope you don't mind) I too had my consultation on Fri 13th with Dr Mignon at Manchester, I have my operation scheduled for the 14th November!...bit scared...... I have just been booking my accomadation and flights tonight. Where are you staying libertysuzanne? I hope all goes well with the operation..... Anon tell your OH you may be supprised at how supportive he is! Oh and I also cryed having my consultation, how shameful?? I think Dr Mignon thinks I'm a propper nutter!! :nervous
