  1. OK so I have been fighting this for a little over two months, I got my Lap Band on 02/26/10 and so far I have lost 15 lbs. I am happy with my lap band and hope to continue this way, and maybe by the end of the year I will be a lot closer to my goal. This is the 1st time bloging and posting my weight for others to see. My husband doesn't even know my actual weight. I feel this is a big step to overcoming my weight issues. My Weight has always been an issue even when I was thinner back in high school. I guess I always had this mad body image and felt fat my whole life. I'm 25 know and after getting married and having my 1st baby I gained over 50 lbs, and wasn't able to take it off. So one day after it took me over an hour to find something to wear I said its time to make a real change in my life. I want to be able to swim with my baby in the summer and not feel fat. I wanted to buy something at a store a truly like it, not feel like there wasn't anything for me. So I am going to try and blog my progress weekly, my ups and my downs and the big day, the day a reach my goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wink2:

  3. Hi, I really would suggest seeing a new doctor, I understand the test you had, but if you feel hungry and you dont feel full I would think you needed a fill. I had my lapband 4/26 and I have had 2 fills, one of them just yesterday. My doctor has a form I fill out asking what I have been eating, what amount, and if I am hungry in between meals based on the information I write and if I am eating the right kinds of foods and amounts, then he makes the decision on how much of a fill is needed if anything. I can tell you that eating meat helped me a lot I stay full longer and do feel a restriction. I hope this helps... Good luck
  4. Hi I got my 1st fill last week and its a little better, my doctor told me its different for everyone and some people need a few fills before they fill anything,.... I am also a little down with my loss but I will keep trying and find what works for me.. Good luck and just wait you will start seeing the changes it just takes time:smile2:
