  2. hey renewed, welcome back! i did SO well last week and then the weekend hit and i did SOOOOO horribly. negated the entire week. no more 'free weekends' **sigh**
  3. thats when you reply and say that this is a family friendly forum and if they could please direct those questions to the appropriate website ... :crying:
  4. that is great. congrats!
  5. starting over tomorrow after a horrid weekend.... do not want to step on the scale tomorrow.
  6. the lap band is an effective weight loss TOOL, its not a cure all. once you lose weight, lipo and / or a tummy tuck is an option
  7. congrats and welcome to lbt
  8. hi, welcome to LBT.. one possible reason people tend to get bypass instead of lap band is insurance... a lot of insurance companies consider lap band as 'experimental' and do not cover it... another may be because the initial weight loss is faster, but long term its about the same. best of luck to you!
  9. hmmmm... tell me how you are doing it... going here?? http://www.lapbandtalk.com/profile.php?do=editavatar is it the right size? 50x50 pix or 19.5kb?
  10. wooo hooo. free clothes!! you never know. i started out bigger than a 30/32 from the Avenue and now im in a tight 14 (not women's). good luck on your band date.
  11. have a great VC, GG! you are starting to sound like me... my DH thinks im obsessed... me????? i check LBT on my iPhone all the time...
  12. what kind of veggies are in the dip?
  13. wish there was a better 'clap' Jachut, that was awesome. no need, IMO, to duck.
  14. too tired to do anything fun (plus DH is getting ready to watch F1 race, yay ) too awake to go to bed. guess i shouldnt have napped when we got home from dinner...
  15. wish i could suck as much as you...
  16. personally, i'd love to be a size 4/6. i've seen several ladies on here that size (or lower even) and they look simply amazing. i'd ditch the mt. dews and have something of substance. there are Protein shakes out there with caffeine (muscle milk mocha joe for one).
  17. WOW, you look amazing!!! :frown: most PS quotes are good for no more than a year. so, maybe when you are about 1/2 way saved up?? good luck, this part of the journey is a wild ride!!
  18. ideally, yes. but when most reach good restriction, solid in the AM is more than likely impossible. shake is better than skipping all together.
  19. mid 40s?? that's December/January for us... hope thinfs are thawing/melting for ya
  20. yeah, must really suck to be you guys....:rolleyes2:
  21. try an atkins shake for bfast. i love the caramel latte ones. throw it in the freezer fo 15-20 mins, tastes like a starbucks frapp
  22. most docs say wait 4-6 weeks minimum.
  23. i chose my goal weight as well. initially it was 180, but i want to get to 159 now.
