  4. denise - what i suggest is just to jump back on track now. (i know, not easy). eat your scheduled lunch / snack (if any) / dinner. dont deprive yourself cause you will then just be so hungry and want to veer off path again. you can do this!
  5. kay - great job on week 2. i thought my first week 2 run i was going to keel over! great job on the incline! i am too chicken to start running outside yet. i need to find a good path where i will 'inspect' it before running ... i dont like to look at the ground when i run ... who knows what i am going to do at a marathon! delta!!! ahhhh! i am so excited to see you here. please visit often. i think we all need all the encouragement we can get...!! congrats on your past runs and good luck on your 1/2. where is it? sweethot - your pace is faster than mine. my brisk walk is 3.5-4.0 and my run is 4.4-4.7. i get about 1.78 miles in my run. i have not started an incline yet.

  18. what i had to do was experiment. and it still is a flux of cals/carbs based on what i do that day. i dont want to stay the same cals so i can keep my body confused and the metabolism going ... also, if i am working out (especially running) i need to up the cals a bit so i dont get light headed. good luck!

  21. Hi everyone, this is our fourth week in the Couch to 5K program. This is designed to be a 9 week program, but you can repeat weeks (as I will be doing) until you are comfortable moving on. However, you are not supposed to skip weeks. It has been strongly suggested by trainers and runners alike to NOT run on consecutive days and to only run 3 days a week. More information can be found here: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml Attached are the first thru fourth weeks in detail Anyone is free to join, no matter where we are!! J This is the place to check in and support with each other and see how it is going. What week are you doing? How is it going for you? Is it too difficult / too easy? Any comments?? Good luck everyone!
