  11. i have a german shep mix and a ???? LOL. we think he is australian shep and something... i think i'll try the paths alone and once i get the hang of it, maybe take one (never ever ever EVER both!!). they are both big and would be great for an early morning run when it's dark outside. i have several parks to choose from. i will try for one with a relatively flat path first. thanks!

  16. hi, there are different opinions on this topic. i tend to think i'd rather burn 400 cals an hour while staying mostly in the cardio zone versus 220 cals an hour in the fat burning zone ... **shrug** http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f81/debunking-fat-burn-vs-cardio-heart-rate-myth-41136/

  24. my run today was ehhh ... i guess i was fatigued. my last 3 minute run i actually held on to the sides of the dreadmill for a little bit of it. **sigh** i still averaged 4.0-4.1 MPH for the entire time (warm up/cool down included) so its not bad, but i just feel exhausted. dawn - that is a great routine! how many cals do you eat on your running days? do you use any gels or anything? thanks! C
