Dizzy after surgery.

Hi all

I am almost 3 months post-op and I have recently started experiencing dizzy spells. I go back to see the dietitian next week and I can talk to her about it then. But I was wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing and what was causing your dizzy spells.

I haven't passed out or anything, but I have felt like I was going to.

Are you on meds for blood pressure? If you've lost over the last few months...you may be over medicated, which can cause dizziness.

I had surgery on 8/29/07 and just recently started getting dizzy. My Dr.'s office said it was a sign of not getting enough liquid and or protein. In my case it was the protein, I wasn't getting in the 60 grams per day. Went on whey protein shakes and the dizzy speeds stopped.

how many cals are you consuming? are you exercising?

i find if i do not consume enough calories and then go for a run and maybe strength train, i am ' ' this close to passing out.

good luck.
