  1. Actually, gallbladder is a good! I was always in the bathroom all the time and couldn't eat certain foods after that surgery.
  2. OH I want to be a May Bandster!!! My last appt is April 22! Then it's the waiting game for the insurance. My NP said it six months ago when I started this that she had gotten an approval in two weeks and then about a month ago it was about a month! :cursing: So more waiting....I'm trying to be patient so I have just filled life with a lot! I'm taking five classes full time and working full time! I graduate May 7 and was hoping for a surgery around the week of the 20th!

  5. Yeah that was my aha moment tooo!!! :tongue2: I trained with Team in Training for five years and the most I was ever able to do was not gain weight!!! The first year I lost some and was happy. I even went to a WLS seminar and looked around and said okay maybe this is not for me. Then, the last year I trained I went from running half marathons to walking a full marathon and gained weight by the end!!! How frustrating! It was time for a change and I needed help! I had no hesitation when the nutritionist asked me if I was certain I wanted the surgery now. I'm about to do my fifth appointment next week!! I'm getting really excited about having the surgery done soon!
  6. My psych doc warned me that people may act different and react badly after the surgery! He said basically that they'd be jealous of all the new clothes you'll be wearing!!!! :frown: It's hard when it's people you work with as you're around them more than your true friends who want the best for you!!! I think stories like yours is what is making me not share my surgery journey with my co-workers!!! :frown: So they won't have a chance to nitpick at me!
  7. "Slime and pb city," okay, new to the site. What does this mean?
  8. I enjoy reading your humor!!! And I concur! Seriously people! Be happy! My psych doc said to beware of the attitudes of people you least expect because of jealous and human emotions that come with your weight loss!
  9. Finally added a profile as I'm about three months away from surgery! Two appts and then the wait for approval! :tt2: It'll be like life before the surgery and life after!!! Can't wait for the after party!:tt1:
