I am almost 6 months out from surgery, and I can't drink any fluids with my meals or I get the slimes, bad:drool5:. Very nasty! I hope that this too will pass, but so far I am unable to have fluid for 45 min to an hour after eating.

So glad to hear that your surgery went well!:crying: I also have Fibromyalgia, and my doctor gave me the same advice. My surgery will be on April 13th. I am a little worried that surgery might cause me to have a "flare", but I am encouraged to hear how well you have done. Please continue to give updates on your recovery. Take care!

Hi JeepChick, Have a great time on vacation and just try to make good choices with your food. It's hard for all of us, that's why we're here. Take care. I will be going to Disneyland with the family 4 weeks after my surgery. I've got the diet pretty much figured out, but I'm a little unsure as to whether I'll be doing any rides that close to my surgery date. Anyone out there have any ideas about how that will work out? Thanks!
