  2. I was sleeved 12/12/11, and am now 2 weeks post op. I have recently noticed a significant change in my vision. I already wear contacts for distance, but have noticed I am increasingly light sensitive suddenly need correction for reading. I even picked up a cheap pair of reading glasses in the grocery store to hold me over until I can get to the eye dr. I am now wondering if this is somehow related to my surgery, or just a timely coincidence and part of being in my 40's now! Anyone else experience this post op? Thanks for any input! 3. Hi, I was sleeved on Monday 12/12 as well! came home yesterday afternoon. Like you, I was quite nervous beforehand, but overall, all went well. My biggest problem so far has been the gas too. I am finding that sitting up in a chair and walking a bit is helping. It is getting easier with time. I almost fell asleep sitting up when I first tried yesterday morning, but am finally able to even sit up in bed and play on the iPad for a bit now at 4 am on day 3 po. I definitely hear things gurgling more when I sit up and move around a bit. Oh, and when I got home yesterday, after being unhooked from all of the iv's etc, I found that sleeping on my side with the support of a bunch of pillows helped a lot too! The biggest thing I was unprepared for was how sleepy I would be for so long afterwards! Good luck,
