  1. Insurance worries me too. I started by contacting my insurance company and asking if WLS is covered. They said yes if medically nesassary. My bmi is 37 so I have to meet certain requirements and have a co-morbity. Such as HBP, diabeties , sleep apnea. You should start by contacting UHC and ask if WLS is covered under your policy and what the requirements are. All policies differ. Most insurance companies require a co-morbity such as HBP, diabeties, sleep apnea. You should get tested for sleep apnea. Good luck on your journey, dont get discourged, only you can take over your life. Your weight is just an obstacle that you will overcome.
  2. I have a BMI of 35 and was wondering what other co-morbities they will accept beside the ususal. I have I choleseral and hypoglycemic.
