  1. I just found this forum and am hoping to receive some great advice from other lap-bander's out there! I had my surgery in July of 2008 and have had noticeable success, but now I've reached a plateau. I know that part of my problem is poor eating habits, as I've been eating foods that I know will go down easily so I feel full. I've learned that hot foods, will definitely go down with ease. I am hungry throughout the day now, and quite frankly, it scares the hell out of me. I don't want to go back to my old habits. Should I just eat regular food, that I have trouble eating and when it won't go down just stop.... or what? Please help. I still have 70 pounds to go... and so want to be healthy again!!
