Blade, thanks, I wasn't even in the car, and I do have good insurance, but I also have a $500 deductable, so i have to get a estimate tomorrow on it and find out what the damage is? I am just so mad that people can be so irresponsible to hit someones car and then not put wait to tell them or leave their info for the person they hit? I would have been responsible enough to write down my info and leave it for them? Its disgusting?

  2. Ugh so disgusted with myself, I gained 2 lbs for the first time in 7 months and I am so upset. Looks like it's time to re-evaluate what I am doing and eating!!!

Instead of being "disgusted with myself " over a tiny , normal fluctuation of 2 lbs, how about giving yourself a pat on the back for your progress so far ?

Pup, it happens to the best of us. This is what happens when you realize that you can eat a certain food that you hadn't been able to eat..or it could be hormonal or salt. You have been doing so great and I am proud of you, so you better not beat yourself up about this!!!

    4. pupichupi

      pupichupi

@Miss Mac good luck with your appt., @BladeFox thanks girl, I am really trying not to beat myself up, just chocking it up as a learning lesson, I havent found anything new I can eat, so I don't know how this happen, but I wasn't feeling good at all yesterday sharp pains in my stomach so I am wondering if that had a part in all of this? So I will just keep plugging along with this and see if next week is better? I was only 4 lbs from 200 and that is what discourages me, cause I am so close to onderland? lol

  3. Ok, so I found a snack that I can eat that is almost like having potato chips? If your interested, it's Pork rinds. They have no carbs, and are protein and they curb that snacky craving!!! Check it out!!!

Yep, good but I have chosen to stay off pork rinds for a bit. I love popcorn and have started to eat Skinny Pop Popcor. Low carbs and a little protein(not much.) Still must be careful on both - full of sodium.

Thanks Everyone, @BladeFox, I know what you mean about digressing, I feel like there are times where I do this also, I need to get back in the game of eating right and working out more. I have been so lazy lately that i barely work out if at all? I am so freaking tired running from work to football and sitting in the cold at football at night, I just have no desire to work out?

      pupichupi

I will tell you what, I didn't miss the cake at all. I am so much more happier that I don't have to eat that stuff. If I hadn't had the surgery, I would eat more than one piece and I would pick at it all the while it just sits there? I don't like that, I like how I can be now.

  8. So I have my 2nd appt with my surgeon in august and I am so totally excited to go in and see him and be either at my 1/2 way point or very close to it. I am only 6lbs away, and my normal week is somewhere between 2 - 4 lbs a week, so we shall see!!!

You Pup are my idol! LOL!!! I know I'm a stress eater so over the past few months since going through the reorg at the job, I admittantly have been eating popcorn like no body's business. This has stalled my weight loss. I have lost 54 total. Really good on the inches, but the pounds...not so much. Could be better tho, ha!

    3. pupichupi

      pupichupi

Listen don't stress it so much, I am the same way, I was getting bags of smart pop and munching that, but I would do what I said get a small bowl put just enough to fit in that bowl and then put the bag away. Only eat what i could put in the bowl, and that was it. I then got wicked depressed not too long ago with my birthday that came up, I picked up Cheese puffs, cause they melt in your mouth and they are easy to eat. I was eatting alot of those, I had to tell my fiance to keep them away from me. I think its a good thing you have hiccups all of us, cause that shows hello this isn't going to help if we don't help it. I am happy that I can still eat somethings that I know are not good for me, it just gives me the opportunity to show how strong I can be!!! You can do this!!!

    3. PinkPolkadot619

      PinkPolkadot619

you are so close!!! I am so excited for you! you must be feeling so much better! I know you had a lot to over come during your journey and extra healing. Your journey has been an inspiration and encouragement. I can't wait to have a 3 pound week some time again, I know I just need to do more working out. hehehe I have 28 more pounds so I know my 1-2 lbs a week is still good. I just get scared of stalling.

      have a good day!

    4. pupichupi

      pupichupi

@PinkPolkadot619 I stalled for a good month, but that was also at the time that I had my hernia repair too, which was very discouraging, but I didn't let that stop me, I am now just picking back up and moving along. You can do this just always remember what your reason for going through this was and you will get to the end goal and you will live a better life cause you will be healthier than when you started. Don't look back always look forward!!!

  11. So I have decided to change my final goal to 165 instead of 150, I am 5'8" and I don't think I would look right at 150 lbs, I think I would be way too skinny? I have a sister that is only 5'3" if even that, and she bounces from 155-160 and she is SKINNY, somedays I think she looks too skinny and she and I look a lot alike, except I am taller? So I just feel for my height I don't want to look sickly skinny? So 165 sounds like a perfect size for me?

@Bandista, that is great that your down to a 12 and ready to go into a 10, I fit into GAP jeans for the first time in my life, not that I am superficial and need only expensive store cloths, I got them from a cousin and so when they fit, I was amazed!!! I love it!!! I am still in a 14, which fits good right now but I know another 20 lbs or so I will be out of those and into a 12 too and then I will have no cloths? I have been hitting the 2nd hand stores when I have a couple extra bucks, and I think I am going to just start buying smaller sizes just to have cause I have enough 14's for now, and then when I am able to fit the lower ones atleast I will have something to wear that will fit? @proudgrammy thanks I think readjusting my goal was the best thing for me right now, and it just makes me realize that I don't have to look at the # in lbs, but I can look at it like whats best for me to be healthy!!!

:( Im sorry hon. If its too dry it will. Im not going to lie. I drink a little water with food to make sure its not lumping in my chest.I figure after months of vomiting everyday that little bit that might get pushed through with my water will be okay. If i can chew it and make it mooshy enough in my mouth its going to be an unpleasant feeling like an elephant on my chest.

  19. Had a great weekend at cape cod with my hubbyman, very relaxing and rejuvenating. I took 2 long walks both saturday and sunday, it felt good, but now my knee is killing me, but im not letting it stop me. I am going to keep going!!!

    1. pupichupi

      pupichupi

yeah but butterflypinup, it's wide open, when they took the staples out my whole incision opened and now it's open and it has to heal from the inside out? It looks and is disgusting?

    2. BigGirlPanties

      BigGirlPanties

what knee surgery did you have? I have to have a replacement done...someday... but can't afford the time off now :( ... as for the scar, if you qualify for the free protein and scar cream from Insure Nutrtion, that could help that too

    3. pupichupi

      pupichupi

BigGirlPanties, I haven't had knee surgery I won't do it till I lose all my weight to get to my goal, cause they will have to fit me to a knee brace after, I ripped all the cartilage off my knee and ripped my ICL playing sports back when I was young and it never healed and I was always over weight, so I couldn't do it. As for the scar that I am talking about it is the incision I got for my bypass? It's wide open, and I hate it right now, because it restricts me from doing a lot of things?

My incisions are itching like crazy and I used Benadryl cream. I am allergic to ANY type of bandage so I've had to use the cream for the rash since day one so, I figured I would use them on my incisions also. One of my incisions is leaking. Like you I had no stitches or staples. I had five incisions and only one of them leaks. It is FINALLY healing to where it doesn't look so gross.

    3. pupichupi

      pupichupi

Lorisia, mine still looks gross, I have to keep a gauze pad over it with the paper tape. It leaks alot and so I don't think putting anything on it would be wise yet? Once it's closed which slowly it is healing closed, but I still have like an inch that looks like an eye socket on my belly that is open and leaks? I deal with it though cause I know its getting there?
