I got my good to go letter from my dr today. I looked online at my insurance info and an authorization was put in, but still pending. I'm hoping to get the phone call with a date by the end of the week....YAY!!!!!

oh wow, that's awesome. I went to the Nutritionist yesterday and have lost 9 pounds since i last saw her 3 weeks ago. I'm still waiting to hear from the psychologist to set up my appt. After that it's just a waiting game till I hear from the surgeon.

I was already pre-approved for surgery. I think it's all pre-surgery testing now. I still need my Psych test done, but they said it could take about 2 weeks to hear from him to set up an appt. I'm guessing at this point I will have surgery sometime in April...I hope not any later.

So how was your appt? Things seem to be moving quickly here. I went today to see the dr. and then for blood work, and then to get an EKG. Tomorrow morning I'm off to to the hospital for chest x-rays and an ultrasound of my gallbladder. Oh and guess what??? No 6 month diet is needed!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

OMG I just noticed your b-day was on the 10th...Mines was Feb 9th...Happy Birthday!!!!

I'd love to be buddies!!!! I'm super excited about going to see the Dr. I started this whole process on Jan 4th by going to see my PCP. I've been waiting for see the surgeon it seems like forever. Let me know how it goes and I'll do the same.
