  1. :redface:I see a local surgeon for removal of cysts. and he is going to be refering me for the Lapband. I know you have all these different pre op tests and thing you have to do. My question is about the pre op diet they want you to try first. well about a year ago this same surgeon recomended the HMR diet (shakes only) I was on it for a few months, and had to get off because i started having problems with my kidneys and the shakes actually make me sick to my stomach.So needless to say i failed at that diet. i lost weight which piled right back on. Now will the surgeon take that diet into concideration when it come to the trial diet? My surgeon thought so. any comments or anything to help me get alittle more insight?
