Staceylca, I was banded by Dr. Jose Rodriguez on Oct 3rd, 2006 in Acuna, Mexico. Dr. Rodriguez put me totally at ease after talking with him prior to the surgery. He answered all questions that I had and took his time in explaining his answers. The facilities in Acuna may be small, but I was impressed at how clean they were. The hospital staff was caring and friendly and did everything in a most professional manner. I would recommend using Dr. Rodriguez to any potential Lap-Band patients. The day after my surgery, Dr. Rodriguez came by with all of the meds that I would need to take. He explained what they were and why I were to take them. Again, I had the opportunity to ask any questions about the surgery that I might have. He then released me and I was free to leave the hospital and travel back to San Antonio.
