  1. I'm working on losing my 10% weight so I can get a surgery date. I have scheduled all my many appts for clearances (Need Cardiology, Pulmonology and Psychology) except for Psych since I'm having difficulty finding a therapist which accepts CDPHP I also have an appt with a Gastroenterologist for a consult to have a GRD whatever that test is. And my husband and I are going to go for a sleep study. So I'm thrilled that I'm on my way. Since 9/8 I've lost 8 pounds
  2. Thank you for the welcomes! I'm so excited to be beginning this journey My hubby is considering following in my footsteps after I have the surgery done (he's 6'2" and weighs 320lbs)
  3. Hi everyone. My name is Melissa, I'm 32 years old, and I'm beginning the process to get my lap band surgery done. Tomorrow I meet with the nutritionists :yippee: I'm 5'0 1/4" tall, and weigh 313lbs which makes my BMI 60.6 I live in Upstate NY near Albany, and will be going with Dr. Paul Singh at Albany Med. I've been researching the Lap Band for about 3 years now, and have to get my BMI under 40 in order to qualify to get treated by Albany IVF so I can try to get pregnant. I'm looking forward to learning and having support from all of you
