  1. I was going through the classes just to get approved for the surgery and I chickened out after watching youtube videos about the surgery and reading some scary stuff about it. Ibacked out of the classes some months back. But now I'm still miserable and my joints are still painful and now I signed up again for the classes and they start on Janurary 15th. I figure, I'll take the 12 weeks of classes and FINISH them and then I can decide if I'm going to fight or flight it out...............hopefully I'll fight through the anxiety of it. I really am ready for a change! Good luck & I'll be praying for ya & sending good thoughts!
  2. So ready to start these classes.....let's get this show on the road! :)

  3. Hi Chubbysey1 I'm new on this site too & I've been reading a lot on here as well! My doctor recommended the RNY to me as well. My first referral was denied because I have to take classes for 3 months. So I'll be starting Weight Watchers hopefully next week ((I've been waiting on the vouchers from my insurance & they should be here this week.)) Once I do the classes, they said my referral would be approved.....let's hope! I was leary all the way around about surgery too. My sister just recently had the Sleeve done & I thought that's what I wanted but after I seen her eat a slice of pizza ((and she just had surgery in Feb)) I thought to myself, Pizza is what got you fat to begin with, Why would you put that in your mouth! But with the Sleeve, she can eat pretty much anything (well, just has to limit the amount). That's when I knew I'd be better off with the RnY....i don't want to be fat again, I don't want to be able to eat a slice of pizza or anything else that got me to this weight. I'm glad everything is going good for you & I can't wait to read about your results!
