You're doing great keep up the good work! You're averaging 4 pounds a week which is fabulous!!!!

Yuppers! I had 2 weeks of nasty shakes then 24 hours of clear liquids, but no bowel prep. However 36 hours pre-op I had a nasty GI bug and did my own natural bowel prep.- Fabulous February Post-Op's
- What ya eating tonight?
I do that all the time!!! I'll be like oh this has a ton of protein...then I eat an ounce so I only get like 7 or 8 grams.....- REALISTIC WEIGHT LOSS
Started at 294, got down to 210 VERY briefly!!!!! I hovered around 240-245 for the last couple years.....so 50 pounds off that stayed off. If I can't get and stay under 175 I will consider this a success....I'd really love to get that 154 though!!!! I just can't picture it!!!!! If I look at it in that light I've only got 50 to go to be where I'd like and 72ish to be normal. That astounds me!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- REALISTIC WEIGHT LOSS
Mine say 154 or less for 5'6.... Once in high school I got down to 170 and I looked scrawny!!! I can't even imagine......... HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- December 2012 Post Op Group
In just 3 months....that's amazing!!!!- "I can't wait to/until..."

241....since I've been on here I've started just blabbing numbers I'd never say out loud before . I was at my highest 312, in the 290s when I got banded and 225 when my band came out. Gained 30 lbs in the 6 months I was band less so just now getting back to that weight. If I hadn't gained those 30 I'd be <200 for the first time since high school!!!! C'est la vie!!! Christmas with no band was way too enjoyable!!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- What ya eating tonight?
- REALISTIC WEIGHT LOSS
I'm 5'6 and my doc doesn't seem to think I'll have any issues getting to a 'normal' BMI....even though I'm a revision, I guess we'll see!!! All I know at this point is that even 5 weeks out, it's easier eating post RNY than it ever was with a band! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- What ya eating tonight?
Corned beef and cabbage, ate about 1/10000 of what I would have eaten before. Sooooo yummy!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Nothing cold or sweet ;-(
Root bear flavoring perhaps??? HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- REALISTIC WEIGHT LOSS
I was told to expect slower weight loss because it was a revision...I wasn't told I wouldn't lose as much. Too soon out for me to help ya much!!! Sorry!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- How difficult is it to get insurance to cover revision from lapband to bypass due to mechanical failure?
- Eggs
My doc has a strict no scrambled eggs for 3 months rule. It's the very last food we get to add. He's just had a ton of people have problems with em!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Feeling very depressed
When I had my band put in 3 years ago I had a total meltdown a couple weeks post-op. the realization that I'd spent my entire life turning to food and I could no longer do that.....hit me hard!!! I felt so completely and totally alone. This time I'm not having that issue, food and I worked out our love/hate relationship during that first round thank goodness! I am still having some depression issues though and that is so not me. I've had 3 semi-major life altering events in the last month since surgery, add to that the weight loss and hormone changes....bleh, I cry myself to sleep at night more often than not. I'm ALMOST ready to get on something for it, at least for the next few months. I'm glad you have a therapist helping you through this, it's rather sad to think we've viewed food as our best friend and constant companion. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Dumping syndrome?
Cream of wheat....it was approved while I was on mushies, it was about a 1/4 of a cup and I'd eaten it 4-5 times post-op with no issues. I hadn't eaten any Protein yet that day and the carb load was just too much, total crash and burn! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Frozen yogurt
I do the weight watchers frozen Greek yogurt bars...love em!!! 14 carbs, 5 grams I'd Protein, I eat 1/2. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Dumping syndrome?
Super queasy, weak, shaky, heart RACING, sweaty/clammy, then totally exhausted for hours.... I so dont want to do it again any time soon!!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6- Band removed and bypass sane day?
I'm good!!! I'll be 5 weeks post op on Monday and really this week is the first week I've started to feel like myself. I had very little issue with pain but the nausea kicked my butt!!! Eventually I figured out that nauseated = hungry so now if I start to get a little queasy I get something to eat, since that discovery it's been pretty smooth sailing. I lost 14 lbs pre-op and I'm at 15 post-op, I've been a steady and consistent 3 lbs a week. Would love to be one of those that loses a pound a day but it doesn't appear that's going to happen! But that's okay!!! If I can stay steady at 2-3 lbs a week and not be starving all the time then it's totally worth it. Getting that stupid band out made such a huge difference in my quality of life, it's amazing how much better I felt once that beast was gone HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6 - Fabulous February Post-Op's
