  5. Thank you all so much for your comments. I have been seeing a therapist for my depression for almost a year now. This is an issue I'm still trying to work out - what replaces food? I'm glad to know there are people who have gone through this same issue.

  10. I am 3 1/2 weeks post-op and am feeling quite tired and depressed. My surgeon said it's normal to feel tired for the first month, so I'm more concerned about the depression. I've suffered from depression for several years, but thought I finally had it under control pre-op. Now, the reality is hitting home that food has been my only constant companion, and now it's no longer there. Any thoughts or ideas on how to push through this?
