Nothing cold or sweet ;-(

Having a hard time because I can't consume anything cold or even remotely sweet, including my chewable Vitamin and all Protein drinks. My flavored Greek yogurt is really pushing the sweet, and I'm done after a few bites.

The only thing that sounds remotely appealing in my head is probably a no-no. During pre-op, I would add a little bit of diet root beer to my vanilla Protein shake. I remember it kind of being flat and not fizzy, but I hesitate getting any diet root beer because I feel like the carbonation would still be "there" even if I couldn't detect it.

Thoughts?

I don't think a little bit of diet root beer would hurt anything. I don't have any restrictions. Everyone's Dr. Has a different set of rules. To me the key is moderation, and making good choices. If you're not comfortable adding the root beer, I believe there is an extract you can get that's root beer flavored. Hope this helps.

Root bear flavoring perhaps???
