I started this past sunday. weight is 228 lost 1 1/2 lb. as of today (tuesday). eating meat oreggs with cheese am, snack nuts either peanuts or cashews, lunch 2 deviled eggs, late snack 1 cup tuna, tonite supper will be meat, salad. i started out at 304 got down to 218 gained over last 6 months. all my fault eating junk foods, sliders, etc. oh i drink prob. 3 or 4 cups (large) coffee at am, drinking about 30 oz Water. had 1 cup of V8 with tuna. i was having prob 500-750 carbs a day with the junk. now i think it is prob. 50 to 75. i am going to adjust daily until it get it down to 35 to 40 until i get down to 199, then stay at 75-100 a day.

  2. i got banded june 2007, i am up to 8.5 cc in my band, and i can eat alot still. meats will cause me to go to the potty, or a heavy lunch. the mornings are tough cause i am so tight. but i have seen that after pbing i can sit back down and eat normally again. i am not sure if i have ever found the "sweet spot" everyone talks about. I just know there are times i can eat alot and then there are times i cannot not eat hardly at all. i get food stuck alot.


  3. i was banded 6/5/07 i was at 304 now at 226. started low carbing sunday. have not lost any weight over the last year. i know it is my fault. i have 4 women who are banded locally and if i ask what they eat they say, milkshakes, or popcorn, or chicken only. i know they have some kind of secret that they are not telling. LOL


  4. ok i had 2 scrambled eggs with shredded cheese this am, a store bought pack of peanuts with some Water after church, and just ate a pack of cashews with water. started low carb yesterday. i need help i am starving here LOL. how should i approach this low carb, the detox thing. what should i eat and drink?


  5. hi, glad this site is here. i got banded in june 2007. started out at 304. did great for the first year and a half. then starting eating like i use too, but in smaller portions due to the band. i figured out how to eat more with drinking, eating soft foods, etc. i am a emotional eater, we lost our home of 27 years, our business went from making 6-8000 a month to 1500. food is the only thing i can turn to when i am feeling depressed. i have had my band filled to 9 cc. I got down to 218 and stayed there for a year. over the last 6 months i knew i had gained but did not want to weigh. I decided to go for it again thru low carbing and i got on the scale this morning. I weighed 226. Happy cause if i had not had the band i would have gained 50 lbs. I am here for support. so far today i have had 2 scrambled eggs with cheese. 4 slices of summer smoked sausage with cheese. drank 2 glasses of Water and lots of coffee. i will not give up my coffee. can you guys give me some pointers for menus and Snacks.< /p>


  6. i was banded june 2007, did geat first year, well over the last 14 months lost 10 lbs, my fault i know. Have gained 12 over the last 3 months. I want to get back on track. Will start going to the gym Jan 2 of this new year. I just want to follow someone. Eat what you eat. Anyone willing to share their daily menu with me. PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! I cannot afford fancy foods, just normal foods. LOL. I have a 10 cc band and I am at 9 1/2.
