  1. okay so good so far. been good since sunday. down 7 lbs. i feel tight again. today at lunch i was only able to have 1/2 a piece of baked fish and about 4 bites of rice no drinking yeah.

    OMG!! Congrats. How are you doing it. I was 304 got down to 217 as of last april, had 4cc taken out due to to much vomiting. I have gained back several, i mean several lbs. I went back to eating little sunday. I have lost 6.5 as of today. But, I am starving. What do you eat in an average day.

    Did Not Succeed

    Hi all, I had surgery 6/7/2007. Weighed in at 304. Got down to 217. Got sick had 2 cc taken out. Went back to old eating habits. Depression set in. Back up to 240. I have many friends that got to their goal. I ask what do you eat how, when, etc. They all say nothing. I need help. So sick of being fat. So tired of ppl saying "didn't you get lapband", etc. Tired of ppl saying they do not want lapband cause it did not help me. Please just someone, just one person. Could you help me get back on track. Could you tell me how and what to eat, drink and when. I do not know what to do. I had my lapband to its max and I still could eat. I have had test, I have had thyroid test, blood work. xrays, etc. Nothing is wrong. Everything is where it is suppose to be. It is just me. ME. ME. Why can I not be like my friends, why can I not be thin. Why, Why, Why.

    hi, glad this site is here. i got banded in june 2007. started out at 304. did great for the first year and a half. then starting eating like i use too, but in smaller portions due to the band. i figured out how to eat more with drinking, eating soft foods, etc. i am a emotional eater, we lost our home of 27 years, our business went from making 6-8000 a month to 1500. food is the only thing i can turn to when i am feeling depressed. i have had my band filled to 9 cc. I got down to 218 and stayed there for a year. over the last 6 months i knew i had gained but did not want to weigh. I decided to go for it again thru low carbing and i got on the scale this morning. I weighed 226. Happy cause if i had not had the band i would have gained 50 lbs. I am here for support. so far today i have had 2 scrambled eggs with cheese. 4 slices of summer smoked sausage with cheese. drank 2 glasses of water and lots of coffee. i will not give up my coffee. can you guys give me some pointers for menus and snacks.

Here is what i ate today: breakfast : 2 fried eggs, lots of coffee and sugar free hazelnut lunch: swanson's canned chicken w/ 2 tbsp dill relish and 1 tbsp. mayo, crystal light sugar free strawberry/banana/orange snack: 20 almonds supper: 1 fried hamburger, 1 tbsp mayo, 1 oz. jalapeno cheese, 2 vlassic dill spears, 12 oz. hood calorie countdown milk BreakfastCaloriesCarbsFatProteinSugar- if i have a late night snack it will be sugar free jello

    :thumbup:Hi all wanted to let you all know that I did a 4 mile walking video with a group this evening, I have never done this in my life. I am so proud of myself. I will be doing this every other day. Had a good day, lost another 1/2 lb. Now 218.5. My ketose stick is almost a 40%. Here is what I eat: Breakfast: 2 fried eggs w/1 tbsp butter, lots of coffee w/sugar free hazelnut Lunch: 1 cup of leftover Linda's Low Carb El Darado Casserole, 1 glass of sugar free tea snack: about 60 peanuts w/1 glass of sugar free tea Supper: 1 cup of fried cabbage in reg oil w/water, and polish sausage (10 slices), 1 glass of sugar free tea tonite's snack: sugar free jello total calories right under 1200, carbs 22. Come on ya'll, let's keep this posting going. if we hold each other accountable we all can win this war on obesity. it's a new year, we can do this. BTW, how in the world can I upload my picture, I have tried and tried and it will not work.

Today's Menu is: Breakfast - 2 fried eggs, with 1 slice of hot cheese, lots of coffee with sugar free hazelnut creamer lunch - 1 cup peanuts with ingles brand sugar free tea supper - linda's el darado casserole (1 cup) and 1/2 cup sweet peas and sugar free tea Go back to work tomorrow, hate the cold here. Hope you all will post with me daily. **Bought the pee sticks, and i am 1/2 way on being in ketose.

    i am glad you are also posting. did you have lap band or gastric? i had lapband, and i gained 8 lbs back over the last 6 months. i have 44 more to go to meet goal, i hope it get here by my 3rd year mark. i too am posting my daily meals. is it important to have a certain amount of calories a day? and if so, where can i find the calories amount, protein, etc.

    June 2007 Bandsters

    Hi all I was at 304 june 5, 2007, got down to 218 last year and maintained between 218 and 224, weighed on dec 25, 2009 i was at 228, so i decided this is it, i gotta do this. so i started low carbing (jan 2, 2010) or basically meat and cheese and salads, misc veggies, and nuts. and lots of water and coffee. cut out my cheetos, oreo cookies, lindell chocolates, chocolate ice cream, and all other junk food between. LOL. today is jan 7 and i am down to 221, praise God, i gotta do this i spent so much money and there are 4 women here that had it done and they all were at goal after 1 to 1 1/2 year. everyone looks at me and i know what they are thinking. the thing with not drinking 15-30 min prior and 1 hour after really does work. i feel stuck but I know after one hour i can start drinking my water.

    i use to get them kind later in the day. my husband said my hectic day brought it on. are you getting your water in. are you going to post your daily foods here too. i am, even if no one else does, i want to keep up with what i am eating. when did you get banded.

    :thumbup:did good again today, i ate 1 overeasy egg with one slice of cheese. i some pork rinds for snack with 1 cup V8, ate 1 cup tuna at 2, and had 2 sm pieces of celery with cream cheese at 5. will have a salad and some chicken for supper. got all my water in today.

    I started this past sunday. weight is 228 lost 1 1/2 lb. as of today (tuesday). eating meat oreggs with cheese am, snack nuts either peanuts or cashews, lunch 2 deviled eggs, late snack 1 cup tuna, tonite supper will be meat, salad. i started out at 304 got down to 218 gained over last 6 months. all my fault eating junk foods, sliders, etc. oh i drink prob. 3 or 4 cups (large) coffee at am, drinking about 30 oz Water. had 1 cup of V8 with tuna. i was having prob 500-750 carbs a day with the junk. now i think it is prob. 50 to 75. i am going to adjust daily until it get it down to 35 to 40 until i get down to 199, then stay at 75-100 a day.

    :thumbup:Ok weighed this am and i have 1 1/2 lb. Started at 228 Sunday and am down to 226.5. Drank 2 cups coffee, 1 piece of sausage and 1 piece of cheese. Had 1 glass of water so far. Snacked on Cashews at 11:30 (had prob 1/2 cup). Made deviled eggs and tuna salad yesterday to have to eat today and tomorrow.

    done good today. ate bacon for am, pnuts 4 snack, no lunch, had 1 deviled egg, and 4 supper had great salad, 1/2 cup grilled chicken. did not get to walk today, temp here was 28 for the high. my wonderful husband went to store and bought me some good low carb foods so i will not starve.

  20. i got banded june 2007, i am up to 8.5 cc in my band, and i can eat alot still. meats will cause me to go to the potty, or a heavy lunch. the mornings are tough cause i am so tight. but i have seen that after pbing i can sit back down and eat normally again. i am not sure if i have ever found the "sweet spot" everyone talks about. I just know there are times i can eat alot and then there are times i cannot not eat hardly at all. i get food stuck alot.

    i was banded 6/5/07 i was at 304 now at 226. started low carbing sunday. have not lost any weight over the last year. i know it is my fault. i have 4 women who are banded locally and if i ask what they eat they say, milkshakes, or popcorn, or chicken only. i know they have some kind of secret that they are not telling. LOL

    i can remember losing 30 lbs in less than 2 months. that was years ago. would you be so kind as to tell me a daily intake of foods. i have been in a plateu for over a year and am back on low carb. been there 2 days. and are you exercising. i started back on tread mill yesterday. walked a mile. yahhhh!!!

    ok i had 2 scrambled eggs with shredded cheese this am, a store bought pack of peanuts with some water after church, and just ate a pack of cashews with water. started low carb yesterday. i need help i am starving here LOL. how should i approach this low carb, the detox thing. what should i eat and drink?
