  1. I just bought a Proform 995 off amazon for 799 free shipping no tax and it's ifit and Nike+ compatible. I have no complaints.
  2. Thanks for sharing your story. I use Benefiber every day in my crystal light. I realize now, I should start adding in some fruits. thanks!
  3. I have UHC and it my plan covers WLS with conditions spelled out. BMI 40+, 5 years of medical history with weight noted and one other item. The paperwork, that takes the longest, once submitted, I was approved in 2 business days by UHC. Check with your HR department for your UHC plan or log on to your UHC website, that's where I found my documents. Good luck!
  4. The same thing happened to me. I called my doctor, he gave me some advice and some directions - I did not have a fever. Please call your doctor! You will feel reassured. My surgery was not delayed.
  5. I'm not happy with BA's Protein Meal Replacements, can't wait to get through them (since I bought them). But I love their Vitamins - Vitaband (lemon creme) and the Calcium lozenges (very cherry) tastes like a sweet tart.
  6. I add Benfiber to my Crystal light every day, I sware I cannot taste it.
  7. Yes, and I have UHC and policies vary. My policy covers 100% (after deductable) must have 5 years of medical records indicating weight and BMI of 40+. Refer to your UHC website for your policy documents.
  8. I have UHC, all my paperwork was submitted March 5th (2010) and approved by UHC on March 9th - 2 days!!! My doctor's office is very efficient with submittal.
  9. Hi, I was also banded end of March 2010. I will be reading your thread for encouragement.
  10. Same here! LB surgery was a breeze compared to c-section! Remember recovery for c-section is 8 weeks, LB, 1 week or less. I had c-section 21 months ago and LB surgery 3/29/10. My only surprise was that I couldn't lift anything over 20 lbs for 6 weeks, that's so hard with a little-one.
  11. This is a very personal issue and I was not seeking anyone's approval - especially my parents. My husband and I discussed it, decided, and did not share my decision with anyone until after the surgery. I was not seeking their unprofessional counseling (lecturing) only their support and therefore, we did not share my experience with all the parents until after the surgery and face-to-face. I feel like my parents supported me with my decision and I guess that they saw that their counseling, ideas, suggestions were all unwanted. I started off by saying, "this is a very personal situation" and went on from there.
  12. I'm day 11 and have lost 13 lbs, first fill will be April 29th.
