  1. "I am less hungry with much less food but still obsessed. Today, it was a pancake obsession. I can't stop thinking about them and seeing references to pancakes everywhere I look." This really caught my attention, primarily because I have experienced the exact sensation regarding pancakes! Whew, I am not alone. I am twelve days post-op and having major anxiety...but what it boils down to is I have to admit I am a food addict and now that I put it down on "paper" things should get better, right? Starting at 317, down to 311 then 296.4 day of surgery, I am constantly worried about everything I put in my mouth. Thanks for letting me vent. S
  2. Hello fellow lap-band recipents. I am just about two weeks post op and having some major anxiety issues. I am having no trouble eating, there is little to no restricton, I am not quite sure what being "full" feels like with the band, have a rotten scale at home and don't know or can't accuratley judge if I am losing any weight...the list goes on and on. I found a lap-band support group, but the next meeting is in two weeks. Additionally, my surgeon prescribed a very conservative, regimented post-op diet, which conflicts with what another surgeon and dietician have discussed with me...help.
  3. My surgery was Nov. 19th. I have my first post-op doc appt. Friday Dec. 10th. I have been struggling with "am I losing enough weight" and "should I feel full" stuff like that... Stacy
