I am a 26 year old mother of 2. I currently weigh 290 pounds and I am 5 foot 8 1/2 inches. I have struggled with my weight since the age of 10 and I have decided to have this surgery to try to resolve my type 2 diabetes. My husband is currently in Afghanistan, and returns around February 15. I have a mini-goal to be 30 pounds lighter the next time I see him! I am currently on day 2 of my pre-op diet and STARVING!
