  1. Hi there, Yes, I did have my surgery with Dr V in Cancun and was very happy with it. I have had no problems and have lost a significant amount of weight and am still losing. I don't speak much Spanish which was the biggest problem, however, I got along fine and it didn't bother me. I liked the Galenia very much. Don't be nervous, I am sure you will do fine. Sam
  2. Thankyou for your reply. Traveling over to california is not really an option for me at the moment, although it would be something to consider if I can't work it out in cancun.
  3. Hi, I am new to this forum and looking at sleeves verses banding. Mexico is becoming an excellent option for me but the east coast is easier for me than the west. I know there are 2 good hospitals in cancun- galenia and amerimed. Dr Verboonan and his team from out of the Galenia and I am hearing good things about them. Anyone have any experience of these or can offer me any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks.
