HI! I was banded on January 22,2010. I have a 10cc band and have 6.5cc's in there. I do not have any hunger feelings at all except for in my head! Can this be my sweet spot? I sure hope it is because its a great feeling and I hope it lasts! I got my last fill last Wed. I have lost about 45 pounds so far. Mindi:smile:

Hi..I was banded on Jan 22, 2010. I went through True Results in Scottsdale and also had Dr. Nirmul. I am feeling good and looking slimmer!!

I have been banded since January 2010, I have had 3 fills so far. I went to have a piece of french bread tonight..(i know bread) and it got stuck! OMG what pain, I have never had anything hurt as bad as this. I had slime come up and after a few mouthfuls of spit I felt better but felt exhausted. I thought I was dying it hurt so bad, I hope it never happens again and wouldn't wish it on anyone! All I can say is make sure to chew well because you don't want this to happen to you. I learned my lesson!!!! I will back to liquids and mushys for a few days..

I was banded on 1-22-10 and I have had this same thing happen to me. Mine did not go away and it got worse about 2 weeks after being banded and I had to end up going into the Drs office and they had to remove all the fluid in my band till my first fill. I guess during surgery my surgeon flushes the band and leaves some saline in it. You may want to call your Dr and tell him whats going on and he may have you come in like mine did and remove the saline. I guess some Drs leave it in the band and some remove it so its best to call the Dr. Mine had gotten to the point where I was extremely tired and ended up sick with dry heavings so don't let yours get thats bad. You are better off to have the saline removed and heal properly. I had my first fill on 2-23-10 and they put back all the saline that they took out and so far I am doing good and can feel restriction. I also though the band slipped or something major was going on but once the saline was removed it felt like heaven. I hope I helped you a little but I know the feeling your talking about and I just wanted to let you know its nothing major and can be fixed with a quick little saline removal. I had the same thing happen to me..your story sounds just like mine did. i know the feeling and it was horrible and as soon as the fluid was removed it was like heaven!! Enjoy your freedom now with no restriction!! I am going in on Feb23rd for my first fill and looking so forward to it.

it sounds like you could of slipped the band..get it checked out ASAP..

I was so sick the last couple of days..I was banded on 1-22-10 and had no complications. The last few days at night I have been feeling bloated,nausea and tired. Woke up yesterday feeling just horrible, I could hardley get up to take the kids to school. As the day went on I was getting horrible chest pains between my boobs and feeling bloated and also felt the urge to vomit. As the day progressed I was down in bed after my first dry heaving (which hurt like hell)I called the Drs office and told them. They told me to come in the following morning. All last night I was sick with dry heaves and didn't eat,drink anything for 24 hours. Went to the Drs today and they said that the Dr flushes out the band in surgery and usually leaves something in there. I had 2ccs removed from my band today so now its empty. I am feeling better and up and moving around but am still getting the chest pain between the boobs almost like reflux. I hope it goes away by itself and I hope its just sore. So to all new banders if you don't feel good and get any pains go back into the Drs don't wait because it does not get better! I am back to full liquids for 2 days so hopefully I'll be 100% in a few days. I was really starting to worry about doing the right thing and even thinking to myself today maybe I should have it removed because I was in so much pain. Has anyone else had this happen and how long did it take you to recoup?

I was banded on 1-22-10 and for the last few days I get a sick feeling at night. It almost feels like I want to throw up but it never happens and I feel real bloated and my stomache hurts. I called the Dr. and they didn't think it was anything to worry about and told me to up my water and fiber.I also went back to a liquid diet today hoping it would help and the feeling still came. Does anyone else get a sick feeling at night? What do you do to ease the feeling? I'm hoping this is not how I am going to feel every night from now on..

Is it normal to feel the lap band inside of you? I can feel mine and thought I'd ask to see if anyone else can feel it..

I was worried about not going (surgery was 1-22-10) so yesterday I took Ducolax overnight and it worked this morning. What is the norm for going number 2 with a band?

It has happend after I drank a few times also. I hope its nothing and will go away on its own but I am a worry wart..
