  1. something to keep in mind is what types of food are you eating? i have had a lap band for 5 years i was 13 at the time of surgery. One of the youngest in the country and i was 1 of 50 kids approved by the FDA. the reason i say keep in mind of the foods is because fatty foods affect the gall bladder a common sign of problems with a gall bladder is left shoulder pain. if you are still eating fatty foods or your totally away from fatty foods your gall bladder might be acting up i have had that problem at one time and i have gall stones but i eat healthy and stay away from bad food and im fine now
