:thumbup:okay so i am now a little over six months into post op, and i have so much energy. unfort. my back doesn't keep up. as crazy as it seems i love mowing the lawn, have been hiking and even to a few very fast paced concerts. i am now down 81 lbs and can get into a 22, it is an accomplishment. but every now and then i feel like what the heck i still look big, but i remember it wasn;t how i looked that bothered me but what i couldn' do and then i am ok. it is so hard to get everything in and some days i still do nothing but the drinks. i am supposed to go next week for my fill but think maybe i will just discuss the feeking of irratation in my incision instead. i hope everyone else is having great sucesses!

:thumbup:Went to the dr. on the 31st and we had a lil trouble getting into port, i thought I would go up about 2 ccs and he only put in a half. Thank GOD in heaven, I haven't been able to eat since, can't keep anything solid down...I can pretty much keep the shakes and water down, and I am very grateful. I have had heartburn, which is unusual for me. I also had told him that while everything seemed going great, I seem to have some unusal hair loss, so I started Biotin. I am off my bp and cholestrol meds! I have lost some more weight and this weekend went hiking with my family for the first time in 10 years! I will trudge through this rough spot! total loss 70 lbs!!!! :biggrin:yea for me!

ok so i did not get to make my first appointment...what luck, well not really. My eldest has been diagnosed with a blood clot and of course she comes first. we have had to learn how to do levonox injections and stay current on what to watch for, so maybe next week I can make it in between her bloodwork appts. she only has to do it twice next week. So I will post more later. best wishes to all.

well, i have survived day 2 of solids, mainly turkey or shredded chicken, cottage cheese, grn beans, here n there. still nervous about next week and wonering if i am eating like i am supposed to. I feel like i have been turned loose on an experiment and have really no direction so we do 1/4 to 1/2 Cup here and there and chew chew chew. i think it is strange not to have anything to drink while i eat but i am adjusting. have started my walkfit exercise 3 times a week. and i am getting a little stronger. look forward to next onth when i should feel normal again. still losing a little and happy with it. best to all

okie dokie, so i keep reminding myself it is early and only day 2 after banding, i don't know what i was expecting...
i am struggling to keep myself hydrated and moving, i wan't expecting all the soreness everywhere but my incision sites, my muscles hurt so bad in my legs and neck. i don't know how i can eat all the fluids and get the protein i need. and then i am swollen and miserable. GOD I pray i have done the right thing here, I don't know any details and things werent really explained other than the general everything went fine, and i call tomorrow for my first three week appointment and don't even know what he will do, I am reminding myself one moment at a time and each moment counts.:mad2:

:rolleyes:okay so i am still kicking and have lost most of the swelling, yippee!!! still have muscle soreness in neck, back and legs(nurse is getting back to me on it)...Yesterday was fun, i find myself ready to start baking for the holidays and find if I use the sippee cup(without theat lil plastic thangy) i can get most of my fluids in and hopefully i am getting all the protein. I find that i can't commit myself to any goals for fear of failure and can't wait to start doing more things with my girls. I go Dec. 5th for the first visit and am kinda nervous. I don't want to loose this weight very fast, yet I would like to at least notice something, this morning I am down to 313.

okay 9 days in and i am still kicking...but really think i overdid it yesterday...i am so tired and sore today, i think i understand why u aren't supposed to drive for 2 weeks. but i must trudge forth, my life is never on hold and i can't believe the holidays are approaching and i have nothing occomplished. gotta get moving. i am still in denial about losing any weight, i can't see it, so i guess it doesn't count. but i am looking ofrward to the first 50...maybe then. one more week and then i am supposed to go to solids, hmmmm i don't know i think the doc is pushing it a lil. i can't imagine that. and which one would i start with that i wouldn't get sick on...that is my biggest fear that and the first fill. also found out the lapband is a 10cc. so that was interesting. chin up and best to all in the journey.
