6 months in

:thumbup:okay so i am now a little over six months into post op, and i have so much energy. unfort. my back doesn't keep up. as crazy as it seems i love mowing the lawn, have been hiking and even to a few very fast paced concerts. i am now down 81 lbs and can get into a 22, it is an accomplishment. but every now and then i feel like what the heck i still look big, but i remember it wasn;t how i looked that bothered me but what i couldn' do and then i am ok. it is so hard to get everything in and some days i still do nothing but the drinks. i am supposed to go next week for my fill but think maybe i will just discuss the feeking of irratation in my incision instead. i hope everyone else is having great sucesses!

I'm 6 months as well and about down the same amount as you. I feel the same way about the energy levels -- I work out regularly, have been hiking and am even thinking of taking up running. It's funny how different perspective is because I'm the opposite about my appearance - I look at myself now and think, "I'm not that big." And man, my boobs seem awfully small! And, I'm still a size bigger than you!!!

You are right though - it's about what you can do, not how you look. Cheers on your success!

Congrats to both of you_ i am also just past my 6 months and just hit the 90 pounds down. I just had some gallbladder issues so that helped me get rid of a few pounds.

I have had the same feeling- I love being in the gym and I enjoy that I am feeling better but I am a little afraid that I am going to slip and wind up back where I started> i know it seems silly but its always in the back of my mind. Maybe thats not such a bad thing??

Enjoy the ride and congrats to all!

HI I am 8monthd out and have lost only 40lbs...it is going very very slow since i have no restrction. To keep me motivated a look at old pics and wear clothes that just last spring i could not get passed my hips.

I have alot more energy and my goal is to loose a total of 100 lbs...it may take me 12 moths or 24 months to get there..but I will...we all WILL.

Congrats!!
